Nani | Weightless
We found a lovely cove on the east side of Oahu. Nani born and raised on the north shore is clearly very comfortable in the water, I barely had to direct, just captured moments of exploration.

This group is straight up crazy. I had the idea to shoot a little series of the club doing their weekly winter dip on Sunday, and it did not disappoint. Air temp was “warm” for February at 36°F (2°C) and the water was exactly the same. To give you an idea of how cold that is, the American west coast […]
An editorial with Nic Huffman and Sam Adegoke for The Advnt Society shot in downtown LA
A little series of LA yogi Ali Owens in an afternoon flow.
I’m lucky that my best friend Brian works for Zero Motorcycles, a company of electric bikes that are incredible to ride. Noiseless, emission free, and powerful, these things are a dream to fly through these back roads in the Santa Cruz mountains. Here’s a few shots from a quick ride I did with them.
This last Sunday evening was the fifth day of protests against police brutality after a court ruling in favor of not indicting officer Daniel Pantaleo for the killing of Eric Garner on Staten Island. It was smaller than the first days, and nothing turned violent or dangerous, but the energy was very much still alive. 6pm – Park Ave
Every Saturday morning at Fort Tryon Park in Manhattan this group joins up to practice their freestyle workout. It was cold out and everyone was staying warm with pumped up energy. Barstarzz was started as a way to organize and keep the sport alive.
Ever wondered about those cool dark Brooklyn warehouse parties that last till morning? Here’s a little glimpse.
I brought my camera out with me while wandering the streets and found some great people with awesome costumes. New York really is an exciting place to be for this holiday. 8pm – Williamsburg 10:30pm – Midtown Manhattan 2am – Back to Williamsburg
I was walking along the parking lot and met Rob who had just swam in and walked across the beach with his fins in hand, so I asked about bodysurfing out there. He started doing it in the spring when it is typically windy and the waves aren’t great in northern California, he got hooked and stuck with it. I […]
This was one of the coolest things I’ve ever had happen to me… It was all thanks to my good friend Alex LeBon, who’s been living on Oahu for about ten years now. He had the idea to go find some dolphins on the west side of the island. Strapped a kayak and stand up board to the car roof […]
During my visit last month, I arranged a test shoot with Sophia. This girl is very athletic and was great to shoot. We met up near Sunset Beach on the north shore and got a few nice photos before the light was gone.
Once again in the northern Nevada desert, our amazing little city was built and came to life. Just a few hours outside of Reno, the barren environment makes you feel a million miles from civilization. Nobody’s burn is the same, here’s a look through mine. Welcome home…
Awesome friends of mine in awesome halloween costumes. If you are in your late twenties or early thirties, you definitely will know what this is about. Street Fighter II was one of the best arcade games in the 90s. Ken Akuma Vega Chun Li Ryu

What can we say about our desolate and dusty gathering? It’s more than an event, it’s more than a festival, it’s a way of life. It’s a pain to go, and a pain to leave. But if you get it, your life will be changed forever. After my first burn I swore I would never miss it. Welcome home..
